Squeeze Page System Revealed - How To Build Your Opt In Email List Fast
If you haven’t started studying and ‘reverse-engineering’ the squeeze page system of the successful marketers, you risk having to leave serious money on the table. Building a double optin leads list is crucial to your online business success and long term viability!
The inevitable Google ‘dances’ can leave your site way down the listings, with your online income taking a serious dive, literally overnight. It’s in times like these that you will be grateful for the day you started opting in those site visitors.
But how to do this optin leads thing effectively? To illustrate how it can be done, I’ll give you a quick run-down of the squeeze page process I currently use.
1. It’s important to understand that you’re not only dealing with a “page” but a system or process, consisting of a number of pages.
2. On the first page - the squeeze “landing page” - visitors are encouraged to take up the offer of an enticing free ebook or report. To get the download link for it, they have to supply their name and email address in a form that is linked to my autoresponder service.
3. When they click the submit button their details are provisionally sent to my mailing list at my autoresponder service, with a confirmation email sent out to the visitor.
4. They will meanwhile be taken to page two, the thank you page. Here they are asked to check their mail and click the confirmation link. Without that action they aren’t on the list yet, so to encourage them even further I offer them an additional bonus ebook! This step is vital, as it will increase opt-ins even further. At this stage I also give them the option of trying again with a different email address, should the first confirmation email not arrive in their mailbox.
5. Okay, so now everything depends on the visitor checking their mail and clicking on that confirmation link! Once they do so they are officially confirmed as one of my double opt in leads! My AWeber autoresponder service is set up to then redirect them to the 3rd page in my squeeze page process, namely the actual download page, where they get the direct download links for the original ebook, plus the “encouragement bonus” I offered on the “thank you” page. They will also receive an email with a link to this page.

6. At his point - the download page - you can leave it at that and let your leads download their ebooks, or you can offer a further free report, as I do. At this stage they are safely (well, they can of course unsubscribe anytime!) on my list, so I send them through my affiliate link to a 3rd party merchant site where they can join another list to get that ebook, and where some of them will eventually purchase the merchant’s product!
That’s it, the 3-step squeeze page system I currently use to build my opt in email list!
There are many different ways to implement squeeze page systems, and you should adjust the process to your needs. On the other hand, you can also spend a lot of valuable time trying to re-invent the wheel!
